Job Smasher stands behind the work performed. If something installed or repaired by Job Smasher fails because of workmanship during the applicable guarantee period, the issue will be reviewed and handled with a fair remedy.
What is covered.
The guarantee applies to qualifying workmanship issues caused by Job Smasher labor.
Workmanship labor
Defects caused by Job Smasher labor on handyman-scale projects completed at the original service address.
- Interior and exterior painting labor: 12-month workmanship coverage
- Drywall patch and repair labor: 12-month workmanship coverage
- Minor carpentry, trim, and doors labor: 12-month workmanship coverage
- Fixture and appliance installation labor: 6-month workmanship coverage
Reasonable remedies
After inspection, Job Smasher chooses the most practical remedy based on the work, the issue, and site conditions.
A specific remedy is not guaranteed. A fair resolution is the goal.
What is not covered.
Some issues are outside the workmanship guarantee because they are not caused by Job Smasher labor.
Common exclusions
- Pre-existing or hidden conditions, code issues, or improper prior work
- Manufacturer defects, product recalls, normal wear and tear, or maintenance neglect
- Moisture intrusion, leaks, flooding, humidity swings, or condensation
- Structural movement, foundation settlement, vibration, impact, abuse, or misuse
- Customer-supplied materials that fail or are incompatible
- Cosmetic variation within normal standards, including texture or wood grain variation
Eligibility requirements
- Invoice paid in full and account current
- Original customer at the original service address
- No later alterations by others to the affected area
- Normal use and required homeowner maintenance performed
- Prompt notice after discovering the issue

Include your name, service address, original job date, a short description of the issue, when it started, and 2 to 3 photos if possible.
Site review and resolution
Job Smasher reviews the issue, confirms eligibility, and selects repair, re-do, or a labor refund for the affected scope when applicable.
Please notify Job Smasher promptly after discovery. For workmanship items, contact should be made within 30 days of noticing the issue and within the applicable coverage window.
Materials and manufacturer warranties.
Material warranties are separate from Job Smasher workmanship coverage.
Product or material warranties are provided by the manufacturer. Job Smasher can assist with documentation when available. If a product fails and replacement installation is needed, replacement labor may be billed at normal labor rates unless covered by a separate written agreement.
Limits and legal terms.
This section keeps the guarantee clear and reasonable.
- Limit of liability: capped at the amount paid to Job Smasher for the specific defective scope.
- No incidental or consequential damages: examples include missed time, alternative housing, lost business, or related indirect costs.
- Governing law: State of Indiana.
